Hammock Chair: The Forgotten Hammock Swing

The hammock swing, hammock chair, and camping hammock and are great for the outdoors, e.g. porch, garden, or sun drenched patio or for the indoors, e.g. den, play room, kids room, and family room etc. The hammock chair, camping hammock and hammock swing provide a unique way to relax and can be set up indoors and/or outdoors without much work. They are definitely a hit with the whole family and are fun for folks of about all ages. Infants, held securely by adults, love the swinging motion of the camping hammock chair as well.

The Problem is...

Personally, I have found that once you get in a hammock chair, camping hammock or a hammock swing, it becomes a social and relaxation center for the home. Once people get in them, they don’t want to get out! Requests to other family members often go like this: “Can you go to the fridge and get me a cool drink or a snack? I am having lots of fun…this camping hammock is sooooo… relaxing and oh sooooo… comfortable, that I don’t want to move…”

Once in the hammock chair, hammock swing or camping hammock, nesting instincts can and do take over, creating a family “real estate” territorial problem.

Can You Teach Your Dog To...?

To protect my spot, in the family hammock chair, I have even toyed with the idea of teaching our toy poodle, Rocky, to go to the refrigerator to get me a soda and a snack. But Rocky loves being in my lap on the hammock chair and doesn’t want to leave it either. He’s no dummy. In fact, he’s been trying to get me to go get him a snack and a drink instead. He's just that smart!

So to maximize your family’s fun and enjoyment consider purchasing the hammock chair, hammock swing and camping hammock.

Enjoy!

You will love it and thank me for the recommendation.

  2. In many ways, camping hammocks are much safer than sleeping on the ground. First of all, you won't have the problem of ants, spiders, and other creatures of the night crawling in to visit you. For that reason alone, hammocks are preferred by many people who are a bit squeamish about sleeping outdoors. You will also find that sleeping in a hammock is much more comfortable than sleeping on the hard ground.
